Anna & Rose

Venture back to Styria, Austria more than half a century ago to an area so picturesque that you might think yourself walking in a dream.  There you will find a charming family with six surviving children on a mountain farm with many acres of woods and fields and occasional sweet wild strawberries.  Their home has been in the family for some 300 years and presents the center of their world.  However, not all is well, appearances can be deceiving.  Times are challenging in a whirl wind of two world wars, political uproar, economical hardship, personal tragedy, and much hard work.

Facing their challenges, two sisters find joy amid difficulty, by appreciating the blessing of family, and become life-long and everlasting best friends.  My grandmother Anna, now in her 87th year, is one of those girls; Rose her sister, was my dear great aunt.  To pay homage to their loyalty to the things of true importance, our store is lovingly named Anna & Rose, Wholesale Boutique.
